factor theorem

Let us solve problem using factor theorem

Find a so that x4+2x3-ax2+x-2 has (x+2) as its factor.
Let p(x) = x4+2x3-ax2+x-2
When p(x) is divided by x+2 [x- (-2)],
R = p(-2)
= (-2)4+2(-2)3-a(-2)2-2-2
= 16-16-4a-4
= -4a - 4
As (x+2) is a factor, R=0
-4a - 4 = 0
a = -1

linear algebra toolkit

let us learn about linear algebra toolkit

The Linear Algebra Toolkit is comprised of modules designed to help a tutor & linear algebra student learn & practice a basic linear algebra procedure, such as calculating the determinant, Gauss-Jordan reduction, or checking for linear independence.
Solve for y: y + 8 = 15
Solution: y + 8 = 15
Subtract 8 from both sides of the equation
y + 8 – 8 = 15 – 8
y = 7
The answer y is 7.
In our next blog we shall learn about how to do fractions step by step I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.

simplifying calculator

Let us solve problem by using simplifying calculator
1.√x + 6 =10
6 is subtract on both sides
√x + 6 -6 = 10 - 6
√x = 4
X^2 = 2^2
x=2
2. Problem √x + 21 = 46
21 is subtract on both sides
√x + 21 – 21 = 46 – 21
√x = 25
X^2 = 5^2
x=5
In our next blog we shall learn about random question generator I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.

poisson distribution examples

Let us learn about poisson distribution examples
Poisson distribution is a limiting method of binomial distribution. Poisson distribution occurs when there are events that do not occur as outcomes of a definite number of outcomes.
Poisson distribution is applied under the following conditions:
Number of trials “n” tends to infinity
Probability of success “p” tends to zero &
np = one is finite.
The Poisson distribution is an exact & correct model for count data
The Poisson distribution resembles the binomial distribution when the probability of an event is very small.

In our next blog we shall learn about unsaturated hydrocarbon I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.
